Yamaha Paul Leim signature snare drum!

I'm looking for this drum in 6 1/2" depth. Yamaha has discontinued it and it is not available at the big stores.
Anyone have it for sale??

I have the 5-1/2"x14" version. Very nice drum!
Why did they discontinue the drum?

I just checked the Yamaha site and it is still listed. Are you sure it is not available?

I check't with Yamaha and it has been discontinued!

i have the 5x14 and it's been my main live drum for awhile now. The discontinued 6x14 could be because Yamaha reavaluated sizes and such in their metal shell line up due inpart that Yamaha would not make a seamless shell anymore, so certain sizes in sig lines would not be continued.
Weckl had a 6x14 aluminum which has never been seen but on the Yamaha website.

I just found one on ebay for dirt-cheap at the moment:

One of the worst looking snares around IMO, but I'm sure it sounds deadly.
